Fred Trask

Fred Trask was born in Digby, Nova Scotia in 1946. He grew up living in an apartment above his father's barbershop. He started painting in 1971 when he was 25 years old. His paintings are flat, without perspective. He uses acrylic on a variety of materials. Fred's paintings often depict daily life. His compositons usually include figures and animals in interior rooms. He has said that he loves paintings more than anything else in the world. He has never taken painting courses. ref.
