Welcome!
Happy Spring and what a wonderful beginning! A great time to pick up a piece of art for your home. Folk art makes you smile, a great way to begin and finish your day. There will be a new Folk Art Exhibit at the Yarmouth Branch of the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia this summer. A lovely town on the Southwestern tip of Nova Scotia. While you are there, have a Hot Lobster sandwich at one of the local restaurants. You can't get them any where else in the world. Regards!

The Town Crier
From the Heart Folk Art began on a road trip home from Nova Scotia in 2003. I am from Yarmouth, Nova Scotia but live in Toronto, Ontario. I have been collecting Folk Art, hand-carved and painted wooden sculptures, for a few years and after my family's first visit to the Nova Scotia Folk Art Festival decided to share my passion with others. The quirky, whimsical characters always bring a smile to your face and are pieces of art to be shared with your family and handed down for generations. These self-taught artists are very friendly Maritimers, each with his/her own personal style of carving and painting.
This site was created to give you an example of what is available in the gallery. Please call for more information and/or to make an appointment. All prices shown are in Canadian Funds.
